4. Using the contract escrow

  • All payments go through blockchain-powered escrow.

  • Customers deposit USDT before work begins.

  • Funds are securely held until the customer approves delivery.

  • Talent can work confidently knowing payment is reserved.

  • Once the customer approves the work, funds are automatically released.

  • Once the customer cancels the work, funds are automatically returned to customer; however, all authorship and exclusive rights for any work done before cancellation remain with the talent and are protected in the blockchain

5. Chat and communication

  • Workton integrates Telegram's native chats.

  • All discussions about the deal stay within the chats with the Workton bot (required).

  • Share files, links, and updates easily.

  • Maintain clear communication to ensure smooth delivery.

6. Completing the project and payment

  • Talent marks work as delivered (Submit work button).

  • The customer reviews the submission and approves if satisfied.

  • Once the customer approves the project work, escrowed USDT is released to the talent's wallet, authorship remains with the talent, and exclusive rights (reproduction, modification, commercial usage, licensing, and distribution rights) transfer to the customer.

  • Once the customer cancels the project work, escrowed USDT is returned to the customer's wallet, and authorship and exclusive rights (reproduction, modification, commercial usage, licensing, and distribution rights) remain with the talent.

  • Both parties receive documents confirming the legal status of all files shared during the project.

  • Both sides can rate each other to build trust on the platform.

7. Safety and best practices

  • Always use the escrow feature — avoid direct payments outside the platform, which is prohibited and could cause a ban.

  • Clearly define deliverables and deadlines in the task description.

  • Communicate openly to avoid misunderstandings.

  • Never share private keys or sensitive wallet information, or other sensitive information.

  • Report any suspicious activity to our support team.
